Miles Apart
photography series

Miles Apart is a documentation on how I'm feeling connected and closer to home through the little things and habits that are 'same same but different' in my daily life — the view, the environment, the usual path, daily routine, mom’s cooking, habits, and home.

The idea was to recreate the same but different things between Norwich and Singapore. It was a collaboration with my mother. She was tasked to photograph the scenes in Singapore while I photographed the scenes in Norwich.

The photography outcomes were collated and published into a publication with an experimental format. Each turn of the page reveals a connected and absorbing narrative.
